Craig Sinclair was a British humorist and lapsed academic living in New York.
A writer and former academic with a dazzling intellect and dry wit, Craig Sinclair was known for his warmth, kindness, and charisma.
His humor captivated audiences across New York City stages and at global conferences. An erudite thinker and enthuser, Craig’s unique perspective on life as a British immigrant informed much of his writing. Craig passed away in 2025 at age 49 after a journey with an aggressive form of bladder cancer. His forthcoming memoir Ecstasies and Indignities preserves his distinct voice, blending humor with vulnerability and emotional depth.
Craig’s work has been published in the Velvet Light Trap, and Texte, Image, Imaginaire. His parting video address is a testament to his unyielding spirit.
